Terms of Service

1. The Service

nura lets people discover, save, and shop makeup looks, and lets creators publish shoppable looks with product lists and optional affiliate links. Features may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service.

2. Accounts

You may need an account to use some features. You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your Google account secure. Provide accurate information and choose a username that does not impersonate others or infringe rights. You must be at least 16 to use the Service.

3. Creator subscriptions

Publishing looks and related creator features may require a paid subscription. Mobile subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google (via RevenueCat). Website subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Price, billing period, and renewal terms are shown at checkout or in the app store listing.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel through the same store or billing channel you used to subscribe (Apple, Google, or Stripe). Fees already charged are generally non-refundable except where required by the app store, Stripe, or applicable law.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create and upload (looks, images, text, product lists, and links). By publishing content on nura, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service (including public profile and look pages, previews, and sharing).

You are responsible for the content you post. You represent that you have the rights needed to post it, and that it does not violate law or these Terms.

5. Affiliate links and shopping

Creators may optionally add their own affiliate or product URLs. Creators are responsible for complying with affiliate program rules and any required disclosures. Shop links may send users to third-party retailers. nura does not sell those products, does not control third-party sites, and is not responsible for their products, pricing, availability, shipping, or policies.

Product information and estimated totals shown in the Service may be incomplete or outdated. Always confirm details on the retailer site before buying.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe others' rights
• Post misleading, deceptive, or harmful content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or scrape the Service abusively
• Harass, abuse, or spam other users
• Use the Service to distribute adult sexual content involving minors
• Circumvent access controls, subscription limits, or security features

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for users or the Service.

7. Our rights

The Service, including its design, branding, software, and catalog presentation, is owned by nura or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service. Feedback you send may be used by us without obligation to you.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Google (sign-in), Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play, and retailers linked from looks. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that content or product information is accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, nura and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold nura harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your affiliate links, or your misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete looks you own in the Service. To request account deletion, email dev@nuramakeup.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that should survive termination will survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability).

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms, except where additional consent is required.
